Meet Malika. Malika joined our farm in 2019 at age 7 and quickly became the queen goat on our farm. She puts up with no crap from anyone and most of our goats run the other way when she comes. She’s a bit of a loner, but when we come outside, she always wants to be petted and loves her cheeks scratched. She is a teddy bear on the inside, despite how she appears. She has kidded once on our farm in 2019 and will again in the Fall of 2020 – one last time before we ‘retire’ her from breeding. Malika has given birth to quads a few times in her life, but that’s a lot of stress to put on an older goat, so once she’s retired, she’ll get to live out the rest of her days in peace.
