Meet Bella. We hate playing favorites, but Bella is kind of our favorite! She was born in February of 2018 at just 1 pound. Unfortunately, she was weak and had a hard time beating her brothers to get milk, so her mom rejected her. We brought her in the house and nursed her to life. She was our little miracle baby! She lived in our laundry room during those cold months, until she was 3 months old. Those were the best months! She watched movies with us, took beach trips, and was toted around in my purse when I’d run errands. People everywhere would stop me and ask, “is that a goat!?!” staring at her perplexed! Well the day came to where we finally transitioned her outside, but it was a shock to her system indeed, because she thought she was human and supposed to live inside with us! The first week or so was the most difficult, but she quickly became best buddies with Cookie (who is the same age) and eventually Bella adjusted to everyone else in our herd and to living outdoors. Once in awhile, if I let the herd into our backyard, Bella will come up on the porch and stare into the back glass door, waiting for me to either notice her or let her inside. She has a very special place in our hearts and always will! Bella has kidded a few times and has the sweetest little babies, including Pixie & Peaches!
